The annual Burn Ban begins today, March 16 and runs through May 14. All residential brush burning is prohibited during this high fire-risk period. After the ban is lifted, all burn permits can be obtained from Town of Shandaken, NY clerk's office. Each time you burn please call fire control at 845-338-1440.
